Default 2005 V6 transmission
I have a 2005 V6 Mustang std. trans. I have installed a new Hurst cometition shifter. The shifter is very difficult to shift, hard to get in gear. The unit was installed by a professional raser so I know it was done correctly. It seems like the linkage or transmission gears are not smooth in operation. If I speed shift it takes a lot of effort to shift which looses time. Any suggestions?

Umm yea. try posting this in the 2005-2006 4.0V6 specific tech forum. I bet yoiu get an answer there!
