Xcal2 on 05 V6 manual

RE: Xcal2 on 05 V6 manual
I think that the Xcal2 from the right tuner will be the best dollars you will spend on your car. I bought mine form BamaChips, Doug is one of the few that specalize on the V6. His 87oct tune gave me 6hp and with a K&N CAI and his tune I gained an additional 19. Beyond the increase in power...... the change in drivabilty was just plain MAGIC! With the Xcal and a good working relationship with your tuner you will be able to make changes to your tune as you make additional modifications. I am not trying to trash any other tuners but I will sing the praises of Doug at BamaChips, beyond his ability as a tuner he sets the standard for good service.

I'm working with Doug at Bamachips now to get some AEM BruteForceCAI tunes for my 'vert (shipped him my CAI to allow him to customize a tune for the AEM).
Can't wait, as everybody that has gotten tunes from Doug seems to have a similar opinion to the one above

Hi,
Contact Lidio at Alternative Auto, he can set you up with what you need. I have an 06 manual and I purchased the Xcal2 from him and a dyno run. My rwhp was 187 and my rwtq was 217. Its only about 5hp and 4 ft lbs tq, but the response is night and day. This little car rocks for being bone stock. These power numbers are also on 89 octane fuel, not premium. Beware of outrageous claims, they use premium fuels to get their claims. Look at screaming yellow's website, and see what he is doing at Alternative Auto. Screaming yellow's car is really nice, check him out in the forum.
