Ok, what about the GT mufflers. A lot of guys are very happy with them and they are a lot cheaper! I could get two GT mufflers installed for about what it would cost for a Borla axleback. Are there any downsides to doing this and how is the sound?

My first mod was a single GT muffler. Sounded great! Much deeper and a bit louder than stock. Two of 'em would sound fantastic! Plus, it was dirt cheap from Mike at Casco's. I think they'd look better with nice polished tips though.

And, they sound a little something like this (this is the single)...

How do I get to Casco's site? I can't get to it from the links posted on some of the forums.

I had a pair of Macs on my car. I tore them off because they were prone to ear splitting droning. Went with GT takeoffs. Been smiling ever since

Will I be losing ne power with going the dual GT take off way (I like the price and they sound the best to me out of ne exhaust Ive heard)? And is there a certain way to hook up the driver side muffler to make sure that I won't lose power? What should I pay for two mufflers? Someone on ebay has them for $90 plus $25 for shipping. Is this about right?

I don't think there's any danger of losing power with a GT take-off dual setup. The stock exhaust seemed to be purposely restricted from the factory.

Here's Casco's site...

Again... call, don't email... and ask for Mike. Depending on how busy he is, you may need to keep trying. Don't despair... he's a good lad.
