hey i recently got a set of 2000 gt wheels and was considering painting them all black and i was wondering if anyone has done this to a set of rims before and could tell me what type of paint i should use will it chip and peoples opinions on the topic. thanks

 

This has come up a few times and highly recommend you get them powder-coated as it is much more durable. A few have painted them, but had to touch them up occasionally due to road debris. One guy, said he has been fine for many months, but think he didn't drive much.

Not sure of where to get it done, but would try a local paint shoppe. Someone said it was about $50 per wheel, but cannot confirm or deny this price
