hi i know i dont own a ford but i need help with rim size i have a 67 barracuda and the mustang has a 5 bolt that fits i got 2 from the junk yard that fit perfect the rims are heavy and when i look for new rims for that mustang year they get bigger rims i dont want to go wider if you understand what i mean please help me with rim selection i want black ones

 

So you want black wheels for your Cuda?

If so, I cannot tell you the back-space/off-set and seems to be what you need. I can tell you that most cars of that era ran a zero off-set and 7" wheels at most.

What are the dimensions of the Stang wheels you found that fit? If the wheels fit over the studs correctly, than you have a 5x4.5" bolt pattern but NEED to confirm what width will fit prior to buying wheels. Head over to RS Racing and look at their back-space measuring page to compare your stock wheels to the Mustang ones.

yes its the 5x 4.5 i had the back spacing but every thing i found was wider

for my 04 GT I really like the stock wheels (not sure how to describe them the starfish looking ones) but I want to run a 275 wheel out back and keep 245 up front...is that possible/safe?
