So far as the tune, why is it that much cheaper to have someone "write" you a tune instead of doing it on the dyno? The only difference is that they will have feedback on the dyno, and you have to pay for the dyno time (generally speaking it should be around 100 bucks an hour or less, shouldn't take more than a hour).
Either way, you need to get it on a dyno or at least a/f meter to make sure the tune is ok.

Well it's cheaper cause the guy I got the tuner from will do it for free. All I have to do is tell him my mods. If I want him to dyno tune it than its like 225 to rent the dyno for an hour and have someone help me. Another guy will tune the car for me while making sure the a/f is ok and the timing is safe. He told me 150. So I am going to go to him to get it tuned cause I trust himmore than the guy I got the tuner from.
