Blown head??????
I drove my car pretty regular for about three weeks before having it dyno tuned. Randomly getting on it every now and then maybe three times a week.. Now I can let my car sit and idle for ten minutes and it will push all the water out the reservoir... It never gets above half way on temp gauge and data logging it at the same time.. It never got above 185.. Anyone have any suggestion on what it could be?? Im guessing head gasket but want some more opinions because I could be wrong.

Its a 97 gt with pi head swap with 270 comp cams..Then your basic bolt ons....It all started at the dyno tune..its like everytime they would go to really get on the car it would press all the water out after they took it up to rpms.

Does it happen after the car has been idle for a while. Try getting a laser tempature gauge. I have a 98 gt with a pi swap (stage 2 ported heads and comp xe268)... My car would randomly spew coolant out of the res... Took a laser temp gauge to it, everything seemed normal... until we noticed the fan wasn't turning on. A friend of mine touched the connector, and the fan turned on, took his hand off, and it stopped.
Turns out, I had a blown connector going to the fan motor, the fan would turn on sometimes, but not all the time. $25 from Ford dealership and I was all set. I hope this i sall thats wrong with your car. I'm told this is sort of common.

After hearing that. I went and let my car run again and my fan isnt turning on at all. It should be ok to wire it to a switch for time being just to see if that will fix my problem I hope. I will try that and post new info tom. Thanks for help...

unplug the passenger side coolant temp sensor the fan should come on shortly after if the fan is infact working, if not check the connection. The car doesnt need to be warmed up for the fan to come on with the sensor unplugged.
