cobra brake question

Default cobra brake question

i just orderd a set of the cobra calipers im assuming i now have to buy the cobra rotors to go with it

Yes you need new rotors, the cobras/bullitt/mach 1 use 13" rotors.

I don't even remember what the stock GT/v6 uses, but it really isn't enough to get the job done thats for sure.

You'll need the banjo bolts and you should go with SS brake lines.

do i have to order brackets for the rear callipers to fit?
and i got the bolts and the lines

If your ordering Cobra rear rotors yes you have to get a Cobra Caliper Mounting bracket. All rear Mustang Calipers are the same (V6,GT, and Cobra) only the bracket is different

The rear Cobra brakes have a extra large front piece of metal on the front sliding frames, the GT's/6's don't.
Cobra brakes
You can clearly see it in the front of the caliper.

The GT brakes don't have the extra beefy bracket part on the brake bracket.


So in essence they are different.

But that part is on the Bracket. I said the pysical caliper on all 3 are the same
Then in essence they are the same
