02gt no crank no start

The batt to block was there...the block to frame was not

That makes sense, it was the "rest" of the vehicle's load that was melting the G101 lead. The starter load should have vapourised it, not just melted it...

Yeah i had some issue with the starting circuit back in the spring, it was really cold and i didn't feel like diagnosing it, so i just ran my own push button start and said forget it. Which of coarse i had already spent the money on replacing the starter and battery at that point. So i thought i would be set for awhile with starting issues. Until the starter left me stranded for 2 hours the other week. I ended up sending it back in and they gave me a new one. But now after reading this thread I kinda want to see if i can find out the the original problem was, not that i don't love the push button start.
