Default p/i intake swap

Just curious and sorry if theres another thread on this subject. But ive been reading that a pi intake swap with the npi heads is a good choice allowing bigger cams. Personaly my motor isnt up to par for F/I and id prefer to keep it n/a for now. If im looking to go forward with this swap should i port and polish my current heads for better flow and which cams would you recomend for this application. Obviously a tune will be in store for the cams but if i decided to stick with the stock cams would a tune be necesacry?

current mods:
bbk o/r mid
flowmasters
cai
stock tune

I wouldnt waste my time or money port and polishing npi heads. I would buy a set of used pi heads and have them worked then do the swap

the npi and pi heads will flow almost identical when ported. i would go with stock PI cams if you want a decent jump in power on the cheap. but we need to know numbers. what do you want, whats your budget. what do you want to do with the car.

Thanks for the input guys. These will be future upgrades due to my financial situation right now. But I'm just looking for a mild hp increase. I want to keep the car a daily driver, just with a little more "hmph" to it lol. Also I have a vibration comming from my clutch. I'm thinking it could possibly be the tob. The clutch is brand new along with the tob. But it makes a "whistle" or "tick" when the clutch is engaged. Sound disapears when the clutch is disengaged. Sorry for bouncing off topic there. But any help is appreciated. "Blue
