head cc ??? help me understand

RE: head cc ??? help me understand
I thought it was the stockers with 58cc. I'd imagine that the gt40p heads have a larger combustion chamber for better flow.
Not neccessarily. Air Flow Research got nearly 400 ponies out of a 65cc combustions chamber with new cam and headers.

you just cant look at combustion chamber size as a measurement as to if your "better off" or not. Factors like piston height, piston type (flat, dish, dome) bore size, desired compression ratio, cam lift and so forth are all needed when deciding what chamber size you are in need of

+2, But if you run a bigger cc on a stock piston you drop compression correct?
