Default head cc ??? help me understand

ok e7 heads are 60-63cc e6 heads are the same gt40 is 58-60
is the smaller the cc the better off you are??

I thought it was the stockers with 58cc. I'd imagine that the gt40p heads have a larger combustion chamber for better flow.


Not neccessarily. Air Flow Research got nearly 400 ponies out of a 65cc combustions chamber with new cam and headers.

you just cant look at combustion chamber size as a measurement as to if your "better off" or not. Factors like piston height, piston type (flat, dish, dome) bore size, desired compression ratio, cam lift and so forth are all needed when deciding what chamber size you are in need of

correct, assuming you replace the head gaskets with another head gasket that had the same compressed thickness
