Hey guys how is it going? I probably have a stupid question but it's ok causeI am new to V8's.

I have a small block 302 for a 1969 Triumph TR6. The transmissino is bad and I need a new one. I know I want to run a T5. Are there differences between the different T5's? I know they were ran in mustangs, rangers, and some other cars. What would be the best T5 to find? what vehicle? what years? Right now I have been looking for a 83-93 but am open to suggestions and help would be great.

Depending on the ratios you want i would go somewhere between 88-93 the changed ratios up and down through the years but these tranys use a good syncro set up.

93 has a synchronized reverse.

I believe 92-93's are rated for more torque
