gothand. i fixed it tonight, this was exactly the problem. the fuel lines were backwards. runs perfect now. as far as the other comments, fuel pump works just as described, thanks everyone.
and to answer your other question, i have custom long air intake system running to the passenger side and then intothe front of the grill with two long air filters. = fresh cold air. the system is just temporary for now. untill i fix it up better.
