Default Need help! just put on x pipe...

I just put on a o/r upr x pipe on my 88 gt. When i took off the stock h pipe it had a lil tube connecting to it and going up into the egr area on the passenger side. I took off the fitting and dissconected this pipe. But the x pipe has no hole for it to go to. I dunno if i can just plug this pipe or what?

You need to get a pipe that has the tube on it.

Nothing happens if you remove pump. It is strictly for emissions. You can put a delete kit pulley in there. I would remove it rather than plug it. Once the pump goes out it will cease up and there is the possibility of busting your serpentine belt. I had it happen.

i had my smog pump freeze up, it broke my belt and is nearly overheated. Unless they check for the pump in your area I would delete it, that one less accessory to worry about and you'll drop about 8lbs.
