Yea i know what everything else does i just wasnt to sure about the camshaft, but i asked the grandfather and looked it up and yea i got the lagist of it now. alot of ppl have the e303 or b303 etc w/e, so any suggestions on what would b the best one based on experiance??

Before you start jumping to conclusions you first need to awnser there questions.

What do you want to do with the car?
What is your budget?
Do you have the time and place to be doing modifications to your car?

actually, adding a larger cam to a car, DOES increase the exhaust volume.... more air = more noise

neither. for a little more money you can get a lot more out of your cam. those cams are old technology.

Even if it does make a car louder a cam shouldnt be known as the thing that makes my car louder.

No offense but you dont know what everything else does. None of us here do. We are all still learning every day. Very few people can claim they know what everything else does.

The cam is the heart, brain, and lungs of the car. To say you know everything else about a car without knowing what a cam does is like saying you understand the circulatory or nerveous system of the human body without knowing what function the heart or brain plays in those systems.

Understanding cars IS an exact science, its not mysticisim, its not speculation, its science. Kudos to those who understand cars in their entirety, they should have the letters Dr. infront of their names. (id like to consider myself "finishing my bacholeors", to follow the metaphore, but some days I prove how ignorant of things I am)

Definately do some research before you attempt anything.

Remember, Rome wasnt built in a day; nor are you going to be born with all the knowledge you need.

I would go with gears, intake & throw on a Supercharger along with some of the items you mentioned! ...you'll be in the the 11's with a streetable Pony!

...stay away from the underdrive pulleys...total waste of $$$

i didnt mean i know what EVERYTHING was, i just knew a good amount about the things i mentioned intake exhaust tb etc. trust me, i guarentee you know more than i do. but you just took it the wrong way.
