I found it for 135. Guess that's as good as it gets. There is the reproduction for 60 bucks though but I'm guessing I shouldn't do that.

Does anyone know about the AC problem?

Only while driving. If I'm still it's fine.

And why swap out the 160? I live in Arizona so I thought having the fan on often would be smart. O.o

A 160 t stat opens too early and doesn't let the engine get to proper operating temp.

Default 160* thermostat

on a carbed car, a 160* would be fine but in a computer controlled engine, the ECM can keep it in warmup mode if it doesn't get up to the factory set "normal operating temp". I would assume that the ECM could be adjusted/chipped for the 160* but not sure on that.
on the overheating problem, you say it is fine when your sitting still which would mean that your fan setup is fine. how old is your radiator? my dad had a dodge van w/5.9 engine years ago that had the exact same problem, & we found that the radiator was bad, we replaced it & problem solved. the rad flowed enough at idle to keep the temps down but when the engine was under load it just could't keep up. hope this helps.

Well it is the stock radiator and my car is slightly modded. Plus I guess living in AZ doesn't help. So should I get a new radiator?

Any recommendations on a radiator? I do plan on turbo'ing this car in the near future.
