the connector on the alternator itself broke off while i was replacing my water pump. its not completly off but enough to the point where i cant hold a charge. can that be repaired easily or should i just say f it and invest another 100 bucks into a new alternator. KNow that im on a very tight budget.

there is 2 different connectors, and 2 seperate wiring harnesses. take a pic, or describe it better.

If it's a broken harness connector.... Junkyard + soldering iron = good as new.

If it's a broken alternator connector.... Junkyard OR parts store to get a new alternator.

there was a update harness per a tsb you should install

got it fixed, installed new voltage regulator, easy fix... only 22 bucks. all good car back on road again
