checked for power and switch still doesnt work

Exclamation checked for power and switch still doesnt work
so i tested the wires for the rear defrost and there is power going to the switch.. do the switches ever burn out, it looks fine and the hazards work fine. i dont know what else it could be

Yea, I doubt thats the problem. The light on the switch doesnt come on when I hit the button, but there is power coming from the wires...
