Default sct 4 bank eliminator chip questions

So I just ordered a sct 4 bank chip with the 3 tunes customized for your ride. I know that they ask you questions about your mods so they can write specific tunes just for your car. I ordered it and I never got asked these questions. Am I gonna be emailed? When is sct going to ask me the questions?
Thanks

Has anyone bought this tuner and answered the questions it talks about?

you wasted your money, those generic tunes are just that, every car is different and for accurate tuning a tuner needs to have your car in front of himself and do a pull on a dyno to see where improvements need to be made

Find a tuner who can flash an SCT chip. Have them do a few runs on a dyno and make adjustments. (If you've ever seen the AM project car videos, you will see them doing this. They don't just load the mods onto a chip tune and expect to get immediate results.)

That's the only way those chips are any good is what MJR is trying to say, and I used to work for a mechanic who used to say the same thing.

Also, to answer your question, log into the AM website, and add "custom bama tunes" or whatever to shopping cart. If you bought the chip with free tunes for life, it will be free in the cart. Hit checkout, and you will get a prompt in the next page or whatever to add in your information.

Hope this helps

Hey,

To answer your questions, you should have received an email with a link. This link will take you directly to our Bama site with our questionnaire. In there is where you will inform us on what kind of fuel you want to run and ask for a list of the mods you have on the car.

From here we will take that information and make three tunes specifically for your application. We will load those tunes on to the chip and mail it out to your location. When you get it, it will be ready to go and you will just need to plug it in and enjoy!

I hope this information helps, and if you have any further questions, feel free to get in touch with myself or our Bama team.

-Dan

For everybody banging on the SCT chips; for a NA car with bolt ons this chip is a good idea. If you have a 306,331,347 or a turbo or supercharger car then a custom tune from a dyno is needed. It's not economical for me, stock long block 94 cobra with bolt ons to get a dyno tune. Dyno tunes are way more effective, BUT a lot more expensive. I would recommend the SCT chip to anyone with a standard bolt on car

You should of received an email asking for the additional info. However with that said, the canned tunes are not going to be all that good, especially if you have any significant mods. I had one, I know. You will need to find a shop with a dyno that can actually tune the SCT chip, if you don't you will not get the full gains and may even have odd ball issues. However finding a shop that will do this is rather difficult as it will vary depending on your area.
