im wondering how much it would cost to switch my automatic transmission for a 5speed manual transmission. can anyone give me a price range? im looking for a price that includes everything i will need. BTW its an 04 v6. thanks

ask around ur local junkyrads to see if they have anything. those cars are all over so it shouldnt be too hard to find parts for.

I'd guess $400-$500 if you find a nice trans on ebay (local hopefully, shipping will kill you!) or check some junkyards

If you really want to do this check out car-part.com you can check salvage yard inventory localy or nation wide. Any good salvage yard will have there current inventory tied into this site. Here's what you'll need off the top of my head

MT transmission and bellhousing
MT computer
clutch cable
MT flywheel and bolts
clutch pedal
should put a new clutch in if you get trans out of salvage yard
pilot bearing
throw out bearing
clutch fork cover if trans didnt come with one

I was talking about just finding a used trans. The whole project in itself is going to be very expensive not to mention time consuming.
