Just picked up a BBK intake and a sct x3 tuner
Now i know that the bbk intake is a no tune one, but was wondering if i could use a tune to get more out of the bbk!! the guy said that the tuner has a premade tune from lasortaracing.com and its a 93 octane file with their own drive by wire values.
will this be good to get the most out of my BBK intake?
or is their another tune i should go with?
or should i have just gotton a diff intake?
thanks

It seems you are getting it from a third party, do your car has the same PCM code than his?
If so, stick with Don's@LaSota tune you already have, he knows how it is done, don't waste any more money on more tunes.
Still, I would recommend getting a combo with a CAI that DOES require a tune, the ones that don't still have a flow bottleneck where the MAF goes.

bbks intake being a no tune required means it doesnt flow(too much) air.
more air means more power cababilities.
yes a tune will add power, if you have an auto you will bow to your knees and thank god you did it. a stick will be like um ok cool it worked
best bang for the buck upgrade i feel is still gears. (373-410 Auto 410-430 stick)
