Prochambered?

Prochambered?
Would it be a plus to have a prochamber h pipe? Would it decrease the sound over a mac h-pipe ( no cats)? I don't care much about the smog deal, never get tested and I recycle, so I do my part.

you can get a no cat pro-chamber
to be honest unless you have all stock i wouldn't change anything
i have used mac long tubes and flowmaster 2 chamber back on my '89, currently have all mac on this car... long tubes, prochamber and mac all the way back
i can't tell too much difference, unless maybe thre were side by side

My bro has been through 9 exhaust combinations on his on his stang. X pipes, h pipes, prochambers, and several different types of mufflers. All with long tube headers.
From what i've heard on his car, the prochamber is most definantly quieter and smoother than the h or x. It does have a great overall tone though. What's funny is after all these combos he finally found the sound he was looking for. He ended up with the o/r prochamber and flows.
