I suggest NOT using Prestone.

I used their 50/50 premix in Aprils new build and that winter I hit around -12 and it slushed up on me.

This was a new system that never had anything else in it before and the coolant failed 20+ degree's early.

They claim to cover their product if it fails but after starting a claim with them they never contacted me back again and never returned my future calls. This is a **** poor company that outsources its claims calls.

The thing with a premix is that you are putting the correct mixture into someone elses hands.

Stick with Fords bio-type safe coolants.

I bought a Haynes manual covering '94-'04 right after purchasing my Mustang.
In it, the cooling system capacity is 11.8 qts for V6, and 14.1 qts for V8.
Can anyone verify this?
