Crashing a Mustang Seems to Be a Bizarre Internet Right of Passage. As This Incident in Mexico Clearly Shows, It’s Time to Stop
As much as you want to beat the dead horse of Mustangs and their petulant need for large crowds, it seems new cases pop up with surprising regularity. This latest instance happened in Rio Bravo, Mexico, and gives us a few things to really think about.
Doing donuts in tandem raises the danger threat to the 10th power. And having a large group of people surrounding them just makes it really obvious as to what will happen next. To think otherwise is just silly. So in this instance, you know things will go wrong, well before they actually do.

So, as expected, one Mustang flies into the group of people closest to the cameraman. It’s particularly cringe-worthy because there’s a couple of kids there, too. So if this gets you a bit fired up, we totally understand.
There’s plenty of tongue-in-cheek guidelines on how to safely leave car shows, but this isn’t something to be taken lightly anymore. We don’t want to report on a person — let alone a child — being hit by an errant Mustang and getting injured, or worse.
Can we please make a pact to behave responsibly?
