That's good, if you're 100% sure you love it and can live with it forever. If you're not sure go with the vinyl and if you like it get it painted later. It'll be more expensive this way, but hey just to be safe. Just a suggestion.

If you get the precut ones isnt it a matter of finding the center, and putting a piece of masking tape the distance of the space and then just laying them next to it??

I just bought some from Baltimore street for $130. I did a replacement stripe on the hood of my Mach1 which wasn't so bad. Turned out great for a first timer. You just need to be patient. I'm sure striping the front to back is gonna take alot more patience than just a hood stripe. LOL. I'll post pics when I get the stripes and install them. Unless I F'up the job. [sm=bangbang.gif]

I did it here in Puerto Rico from a company that specializes in doing laminates for billboards, trucks, etc. They cut out the stripes themselves out the sheets with their machines. Really slick work.
