Vinyl stripe price question

RE: Vinyl stripe price question
I just did my hood stripes. I bought them from baltimore street mods and followed their directions. Its not very difficult as long as you take your time. Make sure you spray down plenty of solution on the car and on the back of the stripes. That way you can slide them into place perfectly when installing them. Also try not to do them in direct sunlight. You dont want them to dry before you get them positioned and smoothed out. It took me about 45 minutes to do the hood and rear blackout panel. I'm sure if you're striping the entire car though its gonna take a few hours.

One more question, to take off my side stripes I understand that I should use a heat gun... is a simple blowdryer enough to take them off? Thanks

RE: Vinyl stripe price question
Does anyone know if installing these in the cold will damage the stripes? It's getting colder here now in RI so it might be a while before we have 60+ days now (which is what the installation recommends).. so if it's around 50 degrees out should I install or just be patient and wait for spring? Thanks

Good luck with your stripes I did mine myself also, just remember patience, use lots of the soapy water solution in a spray bottle, and dont pull to hard because you will stretch them. I took two days to do mine. The back and front bumper parts can get frustrating at times.
