68 Shelby Hood Pins?

68 Shelby Hood Pins?
Ideally, my '06 GT is going to be modded over time to pay tribute to the '68 Shelby Mustangs. One of the most important parts of this puzzle is, of course, the hood. Current plan is a Cervini's Ram Air Type IV with heat extractors. Next to the TruFiber GT-S it's about as close as I can find (and it's set up to work with the Intake I'll be using), and I'm not really wanting to put the full GT500 kit on the front with the Venom hood.
I've heard plenty of stories about fiberglass hoods (in general) starting to flutter at the corners at highway speeds, and pins seem to be the best way to correct this problem. What I'd like to do is mount the hood with '68 Shelby pins (actually twist locks) far out in the corners like the original. (Putting them so close to the middle like most people doesn't seem like it makes a lot of sense to me.) I was wondering if anyone had done this with a new 'Stang and had pictures of it? They've got some specific mounting brackets that were used, and I'd like to see how those were adapted/fabricated to fit the newer cars.
Worst case, it gets standard hood pins out in the corners, but ideally, original style would be best.

RE: 68 Shelby Hood Pins?
This guy is using those on his Venom hood, but he doesn't have finished pics yet. See this forum:

He went to a lot of trouble to recess them into the hood and it's going to look awesome. Keep watching that post and I'm sure you'll see pics soon.
