New Mustang Owner Looking For Advice
Hello all new owner here as of 12-17-2008. I was wondering what the best deal was as far as the side window louvers. So far i like the 3dcarbon ones but also like the ones i can see out of as well. I'm not only looking for style but also durability. So far i want to get the 3dcarbon wing which i'm going to get first but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats and welcome! The SHR louvers are really nice, but require you removing the side windows. If you're looking for a set of see through louvers, check out HubCapsPlus. They sell a great set of louvers, prepainted. Very durable, paint was an exact match. I've seen them on ebay or their website for $179.00 Good luck!

Beware of some e-bay vendors selling substandard parts. They may look cool but you spend more on labor to prep the part than the part is worth.
+1 The SHR louvers are really nice as mdg stated. Its a great retro upgrade.
Look to the right and check out the Forum sponsors who provide us with really good equipment.

thanks guys i do appreciate it i'll look up those louvers and compare them to the wheelskin ones i've seen posted on other threads. I'm also a type to stay away from ebay as much as possible. Again thanks and my car is a 2008, gt, candy apple red

I've got Roush louvers on mine. Obviously, its a matter of personal taste as to what you like, but check out my album for pictures of them.
The cheapest way for me to get them was unpainted through L&M Performance, then had my local dealership do the paint. As far a durability, I've only had them a few months, but so far so good.
