The A47s have 1/2 the size mirror as the stocks (narrower and shorter). With the stocks, my GF who is much shorter didnt have to adjust the mirrors to see but now she does. If you taped off the outer 2 to 3 inches and an inch off the top that is what you would have for mirror. That said, I am one who uses my side mirrors a lot and I can see fine outta them for backing and such. I like them.

FYI: I am told the mirrors are on sale this weekend only, Mar 28 + 29, at CJ Pony Parts. I believe for $187 but dont know for %100 certain on the price at this time.

they look pretty tiny from here, i'd disagree on the louvers though even without louvers, it is _very_ rare that I use those quarter windows as they are too far back on this body. A better design would be like one of the muscle cars that has the glass next to the door glass on the side of the car, if you know what I'm talking about. I think they did this on the 67-69 camaro. also as big as the mirrors are on the s197, there is a huge blind spot so I'm guessing that smaller mirrors would not really hinder the view.
