Staggered Rims & Non-Staggered Tires - Look Good?
I am thinking about getting a new rim, but keeping my current Coopers 2XS 275/40-18. The new rims will be a staggered setup with 18x9 in the front and 18x10 in the back. Will it look bad? I didn't really want to get new tires for now and just save for a new staggreed set of tires later.
Will the 275's look too big for a 9" wide rim?
Thanks,
Sean

I think it might silghtly be the opposite. The 275 might be to small for the 10" wheel. 275's on the 9" wheel might look a odd. How many miles do you have left in the tires??For reference the 09 gt500 wheels are 9.5" with 255's on the front and 285's on the rear.

The tires only have about 10000 kms (~6000 miles).
Looking at the aspect ratio of this tire, it might be better to run 245/48-18 on the front. I could keep the 275's and have a second set for spares, and just get a new set for up front.
I have had a lot of compliments of the ROush 18x10 rims with the Coopers Xeon 2XS 275/40ZR18 tires. It must be a good setup since Roush put it on their cars like this.
