I just ordered the Kaenen 3'' Cowl Hood from AM just yesterday.....I will post some pics up after everything is painted and installed to see what kind of input I will get out of everybody.....I personally like this hood a lot better that the Cervini's Cowl Hoods because I think that they flow better with all of the curves....the Cervini's hoods are to squared off at the start of the cowl for me...but hey it looks good on some cars if they are put together with all of the other right appearance mods....Good Luck with your decision and be sure to post some pics of the new addition.

I agree with you. I love Cervini, but their cowl hoods just look too bulky to me. The Kaenen one flows way more nicely IMO.

Do I need pins to make it safe? I hate hood pins

Not saying you don't or do....but the cowl on my car (pic) does just fine at 135+. Old pic before complete rebuild. Expecting mid 140s with new build and still no plans for pins

here is my 2.5 inch cervinis hood really measure close to 3 inchs
