judging from that prototype pic... the mustang will have some advantages and some dis-advantages ...

well... I heard its gonna have a convertable hard top...which makes it better ...in the prototype pics the rims look nice...but the front end didnt change from the concept 2005 mustang which doesnt make it very special because it will be something old infront of the buyers eyes... its correct it looks hot now ... but after 2 years i dont think they should keep it the same.... and by the prototype pic its not going to have rear passenger seats ... im loving the side exhausts .... yess i guess the 09 mustangs should have them ....

but cumoon FORD wake up using the same motor for 10 years ? a 3v 4.6L or even a 4v 4.6 wont give as much power as it should .... ford wont be the only company producing fast cars.... The camaro is going to have 400 hp ford should at least work hard on the 5.4L engine and makes it a 4valve p/cyl which will produce over 400 hp ... and thats what it should have....

It's correct that its easy for me to beat a 5.7L 325hp holden commodore now .... but it will be imposible to beat those 400 hp american muscles with the same engine ....

if they are going to make it a 4.6L engine they should at least make it in levels .... the GT 4.6 3v which has 350hp the GT-S 4.6 4v which has 400hp and the GTR 5.4 4v which has 450hp

these were just my opinions and i have a big positive that if ford did that many people will ditch thier cars and come to ford .... and it also should have the OLD SCHOOL MUSCLE LOOK with hips and modern classical interior .... and to compete with those germans the cobra should have a 5.4L 4V with better pistons and engine stuff + A SUPER CHARGER which will give 550 hp

it sounds to much loss for ford to make but it will sure write history in the future...

One way to win the hearts and minds of car buyers is to give them more power for the new model, but make it VERY easy to increase that power and have a motor that can handle the extra hp. Lets say they biuld a 325hp base 300 cube gt motor, but at least put forged parts in it. Same with a 425 hp blower option. Put a big enough blower on it that it can easily be boosted much higher and live a long life. They have done it before,,,,,,,,

DOD... if we're complaining about the gas prices now, think how much worse it will be in '09... DOD with power when we need/want it will be a great asset. I'm not going to make the leap of faith that Ford will "do it right", but I think it will definitely be worth looking into... besides, by that time my '05 will need a little rest...

agreed.. gas just went up 15 cents in the last 2 weeks.. no reason for it. I think my next toy I get will be a bike! or 40 mpg car =-/ ... So much for the war for oil BS.. haha
