i saw colored one for 05-up on e-bay not long ago. it may help. my gtr hood came with poorly cut holes for them. i was pissed about that cause i had to do something with them. it took me about 2 hours to put those uglyass things in my new hood and they don't even fit right. maybe i need some zebra stripes to cover them up

My '79 Thunderbird had them in the wipers. They always clogged. Some older Fords had it that way too.
Various companies have been selling conversion kits for ages.
Personally I don't mind them on the hood. It's not bad on VistaBlue.

I want to relocate them to the cowl (that black plastic in front of the windshield ), but what to do with the holes? A new hood is a bit of a price to pay. I'm looking at a plastic painted plug. Nothing looks as bad as those big black lumps, even on my vista blue.

I don't see the problem with them. Although in the winter when I used them... the spray would freeze on the hood. lol.
