I read some info for CHP training on exhaust mods and the test was 95db at 24 inches from the tail pipe. I tested my stock GT and it was louder than that
It is a fixit ticket so I just keep all my stock parts to go back on for the inspection that comes after about 4 years on a new vehicle. You will have to be inspected when you first register in the state.
