Default stupid question...

Ya know where the factory put the little green tags on the rims for highpoint of balance- whats everyone used to get that residual adhesive off? I was gonna try goo-gone, but this stuff seems rock hard(yes shoulda did it when I brought it home) but I see cars all over with the little clear square adhesive patch still stuck on there...dont think googone would harm the clearcoat, just wondered if something better out there- figured theres probably a dealer prep guy in here that knows easiest way to remove...thanks

On the polished alloy part of the rim? Lacquer thinner melts it away and will not harm the polished rim surface. Do not use lacquer on any clearcoat surface however.

Believe it or not...I got mine off with a rag and some water and some elbow grease....I also did it like 2 days after I got the car so that probably helped, lol....Try it anyways, never hurts to try something simple first.

Plain ol' lighter fluid might work too. I use it to get goo off things and it works well.
