I was just thinking, I HIGHLY doubt that I will ever supercharge or turbocharge my Mustang, so what gauges could I install that aren't allready on the instrument cluster?

You could do temp and oil press/temp.

Evidently, it would not be a bad idea to do real water temp As it has been discovered that the existing gauge in many cases registers "frozen" and "melting" and nothing in between...

Various poeple have reported wide varations of temp that did not cause the existing meter to move at all...

Install any gauge you like. All of the factory gauges are useless. Nothing more than an analog idiot light. Only one that even remotely works is the fuel gauge.

I noticed the Saleen gauge pod has more lines... Somehow I doubt they bothered to really fix them, but I am sure Saleen drivers feel more informed

Could be worse!

Toyota was trying to explain to me that my wife's car had a "pending" engine code... Wouldn't that be fun if it were true (what it meant was a very quiet "recall") but that would mean that not only did the idiot light tell you nothing, but it waited a bit to do so[8D]

Oh man I am going to throw those guys accross the room one of these days...[:@] figuratively of course...

These are the same bozos that tried to explain that Toyotas "used brake valving to even the load between the front and rear brakes, so the rear brakes often had more wear..."

For those of you playing the home game, that would mean they turned off the !@#$ing front breaks that actually do the the work to make the rear brakes (that don't do !@#$) feel like they made a difference!!!!!!

On the bright side as disucssed in another thread, they have evened the playing field - so now all cars blow chunks - Buy American, what does it matter[8D]
