Default IL Dealer - 06 GT 5 spd Vert - $1,500 off MSRP

Stopped by Fair Oaks Ford (Naperville, IL) today to see Grabber Orange in person.

Anyway, this dealer has 4 or 5 2006 GT verts in stocks. Of them, 2 were 5 spd cars: one triple black and one sonic blue.

I only looked closely at the triple black car. It was very nice with 64W wheels, etc. The MSRP was $34,035. The salesman said it could be had for $32,500. He also commented on 3.9% financing but I do not know if the two go hand-in-hand. The salesman's name was Serafin Castelan. He seemed like a nice guy.

Thought this was a decent starting point for someone still in the market.

This dealer also has a bunch of 06 V6 Mustangs in stock.

I don't think i'd buy anything from someone named Serafin Castelan, but if I did I surely wouldn't give him what he wants. Tell him what you'll give him for the car.

If you don't know your credit score, then you'll probably not be eligible for 3.9% financing. At any rate you should find out your credit score beforehand. Go to freecreditreport.com and get your credit report, you can get your score for about $5.

If he said it can be had for $32,500 then it can be had for $31,500 without much effort.

By the way there is a $1500 cash back so they aren't giving you shiot off of msrp and I can't find a blue 06 vert in their inventory through forddirect.com. All I show is a silver metallic vert. Tell them you'll give them $30,500 and they'd be a fool not to jump on that. I can get the silver vert with a msrp of $33,020 for $29,024 using Xplan so I know they can do much better than that crappy price.

Hey look - no need to rant about this.

From everything I've read, I was under the impression it was hard to find a 06 GT vert on the lot that had a 5 spd trans. I put up the post to try to help someone else out. That's it.

The comment about the guy's name [Serafin Castelan] was a cheap shot however. I can be about as big a jerk as the next guy and I have a big problem with illegals, but even I know that type of thinking is wrong. You can't slam a guy just because you don't like his name.
