See what happens, if I end up in the area some time I can just pick them up. Post for sale though don't wait on me.

I was just looking at your signature, I installed the Hurst short shifter about 2 months ago. What a difference from stock.

That is the handle that came with it, but now I have a T-handle on.

You might want to check that, his particular setup is not legal. It's a free country until your freedom starts infringing on others, then your freedom of expression gets trumped by the freedom of piece and quiet!

Do you have cats? I was talking about kaldars with no cats. I haven't checked into the law in Florida, but i'm willing to bet removing your cats is illegal, probably in all states.

I live in florida, and I don't know if removing your cats is legal or not, but seeing as how there are no emmision tests or anything like that, I don't see who would ever check. Your dealer might give you crap, but than go to someone else who doesn't have a problem. I doubt a cop is going to crawl under your car and take a peek.

You'd be surprised! They could easily impound your car. Try being a dick next time your pulled over.

ignorance of the law is no excuse and those deisel put the food in your mouth without them you'd likely starve.

This is why the dealer makes you sign a piece of paper saying you haven't altered any pollution control device when you trade in a vehicle. Note the part about illegal to operate.

Hm.. Is that current? Because I have had Orange County deputies and local police tell me that they got rid of the cat law along with the emissions testing like.. 12 years ago or so.. they could have been wrong but they ARE supposed to know all this stuff so I dunno. And I didnt mean the big rig trucks, those are actually some of the best maintained trucks on the road, I meant stuff like dump trucks and really old deisel fleet trucks that people dont take car of. No one was saying they werent thankful for food .. just the fact that a brand new Mustang without cats isnt going to polute anywhere near the amount of gases that would be harmful or even compare to other vehicles out there. Thats one bad thing about Florida not having vehicle inspections anymore, is that there are POS cars all over the place..

Here's the 2006 statute. It doesn't show catalytic converter on this page, but it says any air pollution control device installed by the manufacturer. You got some dumb cops down there!
