Default wheel hop in the rain?

So is it just me or what?

Whenever the roads are wet (either slightly slick or plain drenched) when i nail the gas, i get crazy wheel hop in the back.
Essentially it just jackhammers down the road.

Is it the tires that have too much grip in the rain? Running stock Pirelli Neros.

My old beater would light up the rears no problem.

Is this just something im going to have to live with until i burn my rears to slicks?

This is the ONLY time Ive ever had wheelhop.. I tried to burn em in the rain figuring they would spin easier and got wheel hop. Reason it didnt work was because I fogrot to turn traction control off. Never ever had wheel hop at any other time and I really dont see how you could have wheel hop if you have traction control off... we have a live axle..

it's not just in the rain; these cars hop on dry pavement.....and even in the Mustang GT commercials on TV.

yea, traction control is off all the time.
but its weird, in the dry, its all smooth and nice

once you add water to the mix, its like a jackhammer to the ***

I cant even make a nice smoke show with some bleach because of the wheel hop.

Doesn't anyone make replacement poly bushings for the stock arms? I haven't looked at them myself so maybe it's not possible to replace them.
