Hood hinges
Just to drive this topic into the ground, how is closing the hood now with those on? I know on mine currently, I have to drop it from a good height (~2 feet) to get it to latch. With the struts, do you have to push down on the hood to get it to hook up, or are your rubber stops low enough to not be a problem? I ask because I don't fancy having to push down on the already pretty flimsy hood with significant force to get it to catch.
I have the black powdercoated MRT's on my Windveil Blue.
Great product.
Black looks good with this car color.
Easy install, no drilling, and I did it myself.
An extra set of hands could come in handy though, especially if you are shorter.
I have heard some people who have the Redlines comment on how they like the quality, but not the functionality, mainly how far forward they reach.
I've never heard anyone regret getting the MRT's or CDC's, which are basically the same.
MRT just gives you the option of the powdercoating for a few bucks more.
