I don't have that problem on my 06 gt. But i have a problem with some hissing sound as i accelerate when O.D. is off especially when car is cold. Anyone has it too?
Is it sort of a faint whistle sound? If so, I have that when I take off from a stop moderately hard, doesn't matter if OD is on or off though.

Saltzy the sound you hear on take off is air being sucked into the intake. I heard it faintly with the stock box and it got MUCH louder once I got my C&L.. its not harmful.

I think the sound paulsoo is hearing is the same thing, though its wierd his only happens with OD off..

I have a whisling or turbine sound when I decelerate which is very audible when I downshift into lower gears manually when slowing down. I know its coming from the trans but I cant pinpoint what it could be.

Classic case of low fluid level. I'd start there.

The car only has 6000 miles on it and there's no leak.
