I consider the 6HP claim to be a bit of an exaggeration. I can believe 3hp, but that'd be at the engine, which means just over 2 at the wheels, which means if you can tell the difference you win the "Princess and the Pea" award!
It also doesn't mean that much because the stock engine is conservatively rated at 300hp. And a 1 percent gain is no big deal. Maybe 5%... which would be 15 hp. But then you wouldn't have to remove that filter because you would have a CAI instead.
Be sure to safe the filter as your car will be worth more in 30 years if it has it! LOL
