The Ford Nav is touch screen, it does have the 6 indash changer, does not play DVDs

ATTN: AVIC Z1 owners.. question... Does the unit (when hooked up properly) still allow the speed/volume control feature and the litghts that dim with the factory dimmer. Just how does that all work when your done?

not too sure about the speed volume control, but the dimmer is definitely there. There is a night mode that kicks in when you turn on the headlights (when installed correctly) and changes the backdrop to a night skyline with a starry sky as opposed to the daytime one with a bright blue sky. Both look beautiful and the night feature really makes it easy to drive at night and is not distracting at all.

I installed the Pioneer AVIC-D1/D2 Navigation, I love it.. but I wish I would have got the Z1
it has Blue tooth for your cell phone control and voice command. also you can use the Z1 in motion if you install the Bypass , explaned at www.avic411.com
