This all comes down to personal preference -- as everyone has said, listen to the exhausts and see what you like. There are a bunch of clips at ninosport.com, but it is probably better to hear in person.

I went with Flowmasters because I like the sound. I really don't get any sort of "drone" or bad harmonics. Just an nice low rumble. Personally, I thought the Borlas sounded horrible - not like muscle at all. But, then again, it goes back to preference.

Seems to be difficult to decide which way to go as people have so different opinions on same exhaust, no matter if it is Flowmaster, Borla, Bassani, what ever. Also soundclips and videos don't give the real impression either as those have been taken with cameras having poor mic, but it's better than nothing, you can at least get the feeling if the sound note is high or low.
I don't want loud exhaust, only a deeper sound, so I'm now flipping the coin between Flowmaster and Bassani.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Another consideration is the price -- in other words, how much cash can you stand to lose? With the Flows, you're out $300 if you don't like. With the Bassani, you're out twice that.

Of course, you could try to sell if you don't like, but you're still out cash.

i got the motoblue rs axlebacks instead of slp and the negative thing about them is that they arent all stainless steel. but for 165 cheaper than loudmouths i love them. ive heard numerous stangs with slp, borla, and flowmaster exhausts and i still think the motoblues sound better!

LOL! May be, but remember... it's all subjective!
