Its a great chart but i think its hard to compare 1 car to another....there are to many variables. But you can look at it and say I have this with this and if I add this I should be about here. You can get good estimates fromt it.

Sorry to Hijack this thread with this discussion,
I ask if anyone has Dyno Numbers and Sheets to Post them here https://mustangforums.com/m_2625816/tm.htm
It would make it eaiser for me to enter them into the database, Thanks...

Hey man, no problemo. That spreadsheet rocks so hijack away if it'll help. Better yet, post another thread so everyone who just cruises through the topics can see it - maybe a little better exposure for people to provide you with more data.

Tried it already. We only have 92 octane around here and the 93 tune made my car ping pretty heavily. I really, really liked how the 93 tune felt though.

You would probably pick up a couple more horse with a 93 tune which would put you at a 25 h.p. gain.

Anyone know the estimated % difference between MD and the DJ?
Anyone know the estimated % difference between MD and the DJ?
[ul][*](Mustang Dyno #) X 1.09 = (DynoJet #)[*](DynoJet #) / 1.09 = (Mustang Dyno #)[/ul]
To illustrate, my wife's 4.0L/auto vert with C&L, tune, and GT mufflerwas at 190rwhp on a Mustang Dyno. That converts to 207.1rwhp on a DynoJet (although now the vert is back to stock).

If that's the case then 277HP(9% conversion) = 277(1.09) = 302 converted MD-to-DJ HP, which would support what stangman wrote (quoted above). Personally, I prefer the MD method of measurement to the DJ.
277rwhp with intake and tune, thats it? i thought it pushes you closer to 300rwhp
I was told by John (scrming) that the conversion factor for a Mustang Dyno is 9%, so:
[ul][*](Mustang Dyno #) X 1.09 = (DynoJet #)[*](DynoJet #) / 1.09 = (Mustang Dyno #)
[ul][*](Mustang Dyno #) X 1.09 = (DynoJet #)[*](DynoJet #) / 1.09 = (Mustang Dyno #)
If that's the case then 277HP(9% conversion) = 277(1.09) = 302 converted MD-to-DJ HP, which would support what stangman wrote (quoted above). Personally, I prefer the MD method of measurement to the DJ.
