That can start a big arguement on here about not driving. I had 200 miles the first day and over 5000, 6 months later. Cars are meant to be driven. I had to let that out but never let the fuel guage below 1/4 tank. It exposes the fuel pump which needs to be submerged to stay cool. It will burn out otherwise. Sure if your broke and need to get to the next payday but if you got the money fill it.

I have mine out now. I just don't want to drive it in the snow. There's alot of crazys out around here when it snows and I don't want to wreck her. It gotup to 50 today and I wanted to take it out but the time change has mess with me and Nascar was on so I will wait til the morning when the wife and daughter go to work and school........hehehehe

If you're going to leave it sitting in the garage most of the time, it's best to fill up the tank. It's worse to have a 1/2 tank of less. It allows moisture to accumulate in the tank. I've always heard it is good to keep the tank filled if it's going to sit. When I spent a couple of years in RV service business, "keep the tank filled while it sits" was a credo we always told customers. I think it's good advice for any vehicle.
