Lol exactly. Its funny, i have cai, pulleys, o/r-x pipe, and a proffessional dyno tune and i can barely break the 280 mark at 281 rwhp!! I need to bring my car back to the dealer and tell them they forgot to add about 40 hp to my GT. There must be a tsb on this somewhere!!

Going anything over 9ish psi is VERY risky on our bottom end. I agree with others in saying get the best one, because either way you are spending a ton of money, may as well do it right. Personally i would NOT go over 8 psi on the stock bottom end. And yes when they are saying 450 and 475hp they are talking crank, so really we are talking right around 400 wheel, which is a LOT, so dont be disappointed.

And to the guy with 312 hp on very very MINOR bolt ons.... wow. A 60 hp gain from pulleys and a tune? 312 crank would make a bit more sense here putting you around 250-260 wheel. UD pulleys add about 3-4 rwhp, i know, we did the before and after. Im not calling you a liar by any means, just saying i have seen s197's with LT headers, camed, cai, tune, and pulleys hit right around the 300 hp mark all day.

You didn't hear, he got the "factory freak" before his mods he was putting 280 to the ground/. I am kidding. I amazed everytime someone says they get over 300 rwhp with pullies, tune and CAI. boy did I get screwed.lol

ok so now ya'll got me convinced! lol I am saving 1k more... well maybe 2k... and get the H.O Intercooled unit.
I will be doing the install myself since I am not planning on spending 1k more on install. Once it's installed, I'll go to the nearest dyno tuner (like 200 miles away) and get a dyno tune and also get 3.90 gears installed (this is the job I will NEVER make myself).

On other subject... I'm talking long term plans here, but forged internals are in my plans. Is the kit offered my Haney (link: https://mustangforums.com/m_2831327/...tm.htm#2831327) complete? I mean, if I buy all of that, it would be just a matter of installing those parts and they I have "Forged Internals"?

Keep in mind once you go forged internals, you are going to increase hp and there is alot involved than just bottom end work. Your talking tranny, clutch fly wheel, suspension the list goes on forever. Like someone said on a post before "set a goal and stick to it" or it will eat you wallet up alive.
