Number 9 & Number 11 Fuses
Anyone know right off hand if one or both of these un-used fuse plugs are switched??
Also, I read somewhere that there is a grommet on the passenger side that ends below the battery under the hood....Haven't had a chance to check yet, can anyone verify?? I know about the one on the drivers side....
Thx,
Mike

I am not sure about the fuses or what you are thinking about using them for, but the grommet is there on the passanger side. I just put my new head unit, sub, and amp in last weekend and I used that grommet. You have to remover the tire, inner wheel well, and there is an unused grommet right next to where the SJB wiring comes through the firewall. If you look from the inside of the car you will see it just above the carpet. There will be one large cable and the antenna coax going through on this side. Just to the right of the large cable you will see the empty spot to use. It is pretty easy to get to and you can follow the wiring directy up to the engine compartment fuse box.

Thanks for the replys......
Sounds like the passenger side grommet is more work than it's worth for one little wire. Probably use the one on the drivers side...Thanks for the info....
I've seen the drawing of the fuse box, but unless I am missing it, it does not define if the unused number 9 and number 11 ports are constant hot, or switched with ignition?????
Mike
Oh, using an add a circuit to hook up my shift light.....

They show as a hot bus.
F2.9 and F2.11
Thanks for giving me an idea also....
I 'm adding a Three Gauge pillar pod, Autometer Phantom Elec (Fuel press, NOS press, Pro shift level 2) gauges.
The Pro Shift Gauges are preety cool, Fit in a standard 2 1/16 hole, Digital tach, Amber shift LED for Level 1. Level 2, Amber get ready, Orange almost there, Green shift, Red Crap, Level 3 adds memory function.
They make these in the duct tape attached versions also. (my rib)
I might just pick off the power mirror 5ampwiring for all three. Since I never adjust my mirrors anyways.
And it will be switched on from ignition.F2.4
I wll have add seperate relays for the Bottle solinoids/heater/opener though.
One thing at a time.
