Has there been any cases of anyones Ford factory hood scoop breaking the paint in the front corners where the scoop sits on the hood?? Seems like it really digs in there!

Sorry. I am sure you really like the way it looks. More power bro!

Yep, I get a lot of compliments. Even people telling me that stangs without the scoop look plain and asking me how much horsepower it adds.

Ignorance is bliss!

Where did I see that the hood scoop is like a 200h.p. gain. Side scoops must be another 100h.p.. My V6er needs both!

I have documented test results that show the specific hood scoop (mailbox) on our hoods increases the drag co-efficient of our cars. It does absolutely nothing else besides looking georgeous. IMHO. And yes they can be easily removed as long as you do not mind the pesky little holes in the hood that it leaves behind.

My hood scoop had a horrible gap all around the back edge. Whit i did to fix my problem waspicked upsome 1/2 inch flat faucet washers frommy localhardware store$1.50. Under the hood there are four bolts that hold the hood scoop to the hood unscrew the back two nuts place the washer on the bolt tighten till the gap is gone it worked for me.
